FAQ’s
-
Students 6–18 can participate, with courses for beginners to advanced coders.
-
Nope! We welcome beginners and gradually teach more advanced concepts.
-
Python, JavaScript, Java, Lua, C#, and more depending on the course.
-
Each course is self-paced, which means your child can move through the lessons as quickly or as slowly as they are comfortable. Some shorter courses can be completed in just a few hours, while more advanced projects may take several weeks. On average, many families find that two to four hours per week is a good rhythm for steady progress, though motivated students often choose to spend more time exploring.
-
Courses are designed with guided videos, clear instructions, and interactive examples that make it easy for students to follow along. If a child needs to revisit a concept, lessons can be paused, replayed, and practiced as often as needed. This allows students to learn independently while still having plenty of built-in support.
-
Game development, web apps, Minecraft/Roblox mods, and real-world coding challenges.
-
For $50 a month, your student has unlimited access to our catalog of 200+ coding courses and 750+ challenges. They are able to move at their own pace and complete as many courses as they would like to!

Coding Innovators offers something for every level of experience. Younger children and beginners often start with block coding courses that use colorful, drag-and-drop platforms to build games and animations. Older students or those with more experience may begin with text-based coding languages such as Python or Java, or dive into game design projects inspired by Minecraft and Roblox. Because the program is flexible, students can explore different tracks until they find the one that best matches their interests and skill level.
-
Self-paced learning is ideal for motivated students who enjoy exploring at their own speed. Many children thrive in this format because they feel less pressure and can focus on what interests them most. For students who need more structure, parents can help by setting regular times for coding sessions and by checking progress together each week.
-
The program operates on a monthly subscription at fifty dollars per month. Parents are free to cancel or pause the subscription at any time. The subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, and families can rejoin whenever they are ready to continue.
-
The academy works best on a computer or laptop with internet access and a modern web browser such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge. While some beginner block coding activities may run on tablets, most courses require a full keyboard and larger screen for the best learning experience.
-
Yes. The platform collects only the information necessary to create and maintain a student account. All activity is limited to the learning environment, with no outside communication or public sharing. Parents maintain full control of the subscription, and students learn in a safe, closed system without exposure to public forums or chatrooms.
-
Yes. Parents and students have access to a progress dashboard that shows which courses have been started, how much has been completed, and which lessons remain. This makes it easy to see your child’s learning journey at a glance. Many families find it helpful to check the dashboard together so students can celebrate milestones and set goals for their next projects.
Parents can quickly check the percentage of each course completed, view finished projects, and see how much time their child has spent coding. Many families enjoy reviewing the dashboard together to celebrate accomplishments, preview upcoming challenges, and set new goals. This feature helps ensure that children stay motivated while giving parents peace of mind that real progress is being made. -
Yes. With a Coding Innovators subscription, students have unlimited access to the entire course library, which means they can begin as many courses as they would like at the same time. Some children prefer to focus on one course from start to finish, while others enjoy switching between different projects depending on their mood or interests.
