Our Programs

At Teach Me Technology, we prefer a tailored approach to education. We understand that everyone learns differently and at different speeds. Each student has individual needs that cannot be filled with a one-size-fits-all approach. We designed all of our programs with this understanding in mind. We instruct and equip our students with practical education and career skills in the areas of science, technology, engineering, arts and math.

These extended educational opportunities give students a competitive advantage in school and in the workforce. We understand that an atmosphere of encouragement and positivity is needed in a learning environment, and because of this we utilize instructors that empower and foster excellence in students.

We provide a variety of programs and services to fulfill a multitude of needs, including developing specialized workshops.

AFTER SCHOOL

We know that there are only so many hours in the school day, and because of this our afterschool program acts as an extension of school hours to contribute to valuable student learning time. The afterschool tech program instructs students in topics that aren’t typically covered in everyday classroom materials, such as technology and engineering, though we cover all areas of STEAM and additional subjects when needed. With the focus being on STEAM subjects, it allows students to broaden the scope of materials that are learned on a regular basis. These materials that our afterschool tech program exposes students to are incredibly valuable in this technological and information age. It equips students with the understanding and confidence needed to take what they’ve learned and apply it outside of the classroom.

We also give further assistance to students in any areas they need help in, providing additional one on one attention to confirm that students are receiving the academic guidance they need and preparing them for testing. Our instructors are fluent in English and Spanish, allowing them to connect directly with students of a variety of cultures and give further explanation when needed.

SUMMER SCHOOL

Summer school is a great way to keep student’s minds active and alert during the months that they are not in school. It’s the perfect opportunity to expand on the educational topics that they learned during the school year and introduce new skills for them to master. Our goal is to deliver a learning experience that is an enjoyable process and marked with significant growth. The students will walk away with increased confidence in their ability, and knowledge that they can build off of in the following school year. This confidence results from students gaining skill and guidance from our instructional bilingual staff that empowers students in building this tool set.

Educational and fun games, music engineering, computer coding, healthy eating, crime scene investigation, robotics and animation are all methods and tools that are implemented into the summer program to teach students in a stimulating environment. The training and skills taught in this program are ones that are useful and applicable to today and future opportunities. Teach Me Technology has developed programs that partner with local schools to provide educational enrichment that compliments the school’s academic materials. We communicate with teachers and staff every step of the way to provide students with the best support and guidance possible. We have designed every aspect of our program to be fun and interesting so that students can engage and absorb information easily.

We focus on instructing students in areas that they might not typically have the opportunity to develop, such as a variety of computer fundamentals and programs, and understanding electronic communications. We encourage questions, hands on learning and an overall inquisitive environment because students absorb information best when they are allowed to freely explore and delve into what they are learning. We utilize educational games that teach students problem solving skills, mathematics and higher-order thinking skills, as well as other topics.

We have found the best way to enrich the lives and minds of students is to approach education and learning as an experience that doesn’t stop when they leave the classroom. We are simply giving them tools and structure to take with them when they do, and these tools must be useful.

ADULT LEARNING

The need for knowledge and education doesn’t decrease as we grow older – it increases.  At Teach Me Technology, we’re in the business of building lifelong learners and that’s why we offer programs for high school students and adults that are out of school. Our goal is to prepare our students to excel in a competitive work environment. To accomplish this we focus on providing our students with valuable and marketable skills that they can actually use in the workforce.

We offer a variety of courses in the areas of supervisory training, computer training and internet training. Each course has been designed to pinpoint an area of one subject and focus on it. Spending time focusing on specific topics allows students to learn and explore the subject in greater detail and gain confidence in it. We utilize the best instructors that have years of practical experience in the very subject they are teaching.
